Major technology breakthrough integrates leading accounting/ERP packages with existing e-commerce sites.
Netfira, the leading supplier of technology that connects buyer and sellers in real-time, today announced the availability of extensions to the Netfira Webstore system enabling product, pricing and ordering details from leading accounting/ERP systems to be fully integrated with many existing e-commerce sites.

While the boom in e-commerce and online shopping gathers speed, the last leg connection between a company’s online presence and their accounting/ERP systems continues to be a problem for most companies.

Users start by installing Netfira Seller on a PC in the company. Netfira Seller connects to one of an ever growing ranging of accounting/ERP packages. Once connected, Netfira Seller updates an e-commerce site instantly and automatically with any changes to product details including pricing and availability. Orders placed online are inserted into the accounting/ERP system moments after the customer hits “submit”.
There’s no need to upload/download files, sync between back office and website or even work out how to import orders – all of this is handled instantly in the background by Netfira.
Easy to implement:
Netfira is producing a range of connectors for popular e-commerce systems starting with Magento, osCommerce, Volusion and VirtueMart and plans are underway for others. Web developers who are not using one of the supported systems can use the Netfira Webstore SDK to quickly develop their own connectors.
Essentially, any e-commerce system that stores product and order details in a database, that can be accessed through directly or through an API, can now be integrated with any of the accounting/ERP systems supported by Netfira.

Pricing:
The Netfira SDK and Netfira Webstore are free to download, install and use. Companies can use Netfira to keep their product details, pricing and availability up to date for free.
There is a $1.50 charge for each order placed via the e-commerce site inserted into the company accounting/ERP system.
Developers are welcome to use Netfira SDK to create their own custom products which can be distributed to customers and charged as they wish.
